Punjab United winners of the 2009 Lion's Cup....

WolfPack FC lost to Punjab United in the Qtrs. Good team they are and they play very well...there keeper was very shaky at times and looked like a novice more often..LOL!!!

Overall, tournament was well run, well organized and everyone had fun. It was not there faults that the City of Brampton don't know how to maintain there fields...or at least water them!!!!!

Their keeper didn't do too bad on Sunday for a guy who just found out he can only use his hands inside the 18 yard box. Impressed with wolfpacks performance on Saturday, fatigued legs on Sunday say them suffer a 5-nil loss to be knocked out of the tourny.

I dunno... seems like a really tough matchup for x-calibur, although it would be nice to see 2C silver get some team through to the next round.

Guys felt like going out on a Saturday night was more important...thus us only having 1 sub and most people playing positions they really have never played before.

Johnny wooo's got his work cut out for him, his boys are going to have to run like the wind and pass like they've never done before. D's gonna have to really step up and play the body in order to keep Harjit from putting one or two in the back of the net. He ain't on top of the scoring list for no reason - he's the real deal! Them Punjab boys are accurate and always push the ball.

The only thing I can say is keep the ball to the sides and waste as much time as you can cause your gonna RUN

Welcome to D1 ball blaze...
