Don't play for them but have been playing against them for years at Fairgrounds....and I'm pretty sure they'll be able to handle OTB, Punjab United (they have in the past) and others....

Sorry WebGuru, Have to agree with Singh.........Argentina will be a force in the Premier, no offense to the other teams OTB/Punjab, but these boys are way too quick, play short passes and play at a complex that is perfect for their style of play. It will be interesting to see one some of these teams play each other.

This division has been owned by them for some time, the facts are there. They are pretty nasty with the ball at their feet too, they are very quick. But, OTB has added quite a few new to players to the squad of a caliber that will be able to handle Argentina. Meaning, give them at least a good battle and no walk through by any stretch.
But, as was quoted, if we are able to get them all out.
Punjab are sick too do not count those lads out, they are dangerous. We look forward to the challenges ahead!

Yes, Argentina look like favs to repeat, but let's not read too much into a 10 - 0 Week 1 Thanksgiving victory. There are certainly stiffer opponents in the mix.

Good point Admin..... 10-0 on a Thanksgiving Sunday where Monday is the holiday against a team that nobody has heard of? Imagine not coming away with a 10-0 win and having to settle with something like 9-2.... oh wait Punjab did. Don't count them out. Don't count out Hustler or Old Thames Boys either, as close as that game was both squads were missing an assortment of players that could've persuaded that match to have much more goals or lack of.
You can't assess anything in the first week of competition, nor on a holiday and especially since teams have not fielded their full squads. I've put my strongest squad together to date and still have players asking to join that would make my camp even more concrete.
I assert you Argentina will be a tough team to beat but one thing every team has on them is that we know about them, their game, their strengths and (few) weaknesses and things to watch for. I have players that can run with them, dribble with them, defend them, attack them and WILL win 50/50 challenges against them.
I worry more about my team beating itself rather than Argentina/Punjab/Hustler beating us.

I agree that any team can lose any day but for someone that has played at Fairgrounds for so many years the best team right now is Argentina.
Talent was only matched by Stouville Badgers last year. Yes they may not win the league this session or next but by far the most talented team. Give respect where it is due.
