Admin,
When will the remaining indoor schedules be up?
Also will there be any realignment of the divisions for indoor? I know there were a lot of complaints about how realignment was done for the co-ed indoor season, since it was done late in the season why not do it after these 4 weeks. And since the schedule is not up maybe that is already the plan.

Trying to secure some extra hours for Fridays so minimal matches have to be moved. Once that is determined (by week's end), the coed scheduling will be continued.

Actually, there was very little complaining about the realignment in the summer. Those who wanted to continue to win 10 - 0 every week complained. Those who understood that the disparity disappeared after realignment applauded.

I could be totally wrong about the complaining. I didnt play summer indoor, or follow it at all, I just seemed to remember a huge discussion about the co-ed realignment. Are you considering realignment this early? It certainly seems like the top team in both coed B and C are playing below there level. I know its only 3 games but +12 is pretty good.

Im sure tons of peeps look at the teams on top of their div and think that they are playing below their level but allyou have to do is ask why do we play co-ed. Its suppose to be a fun time to play the sport with your friends, Wives, and girlfriends. Look at the FPI at the top div, doesnt seem like much fun when cards are being handed out consistantly. Every team in the top Div has a lower FPI than any team in div B.

Realignment is always tough for INDOOR (but not impossible) simply because all the teams don't make the playoffs. This is REALLY what the issue amounted to in the summer that created the most "discussion". Consider this: 2 divisions (A + B) with 8 teams each. Top team from B gets moved up to A and now the standings are skewed. The 4th place team in A instantly becomes the 5th place team and for that reason may now get screwed out of a playoff spot. This was solved in the summer by introducing another round of playoffs. Not gonna do that again.

Realignment can (AND WILL) be done between sessions.

My question is why do people play co-ed. Its not to win a little medal, its to have fun. I happen to catch a game last night from div 1 and thot to myself wtf is wrong with these guys. They take it too seriously compared to the divisions below.

As much as I agree with you, I would question the teams in the lower divisions that are "just there to have fun", but yet their rosters are chock full of competitive players. Are the competitive players needed to make the "fun" more enjoyable?

I think the competitive players just want to come out and play for fun. I would even go out as far to say eliminate standings and the same players would be back.

...or maybe even a draft system? If you're just there to have fun, you should care little for what team you are on.

a draft would be a good idea for those that are single, but those with girlfriends it would not work unless the draft was done in couples

How about Swingers' Coed? Cool Saturdays at midnite? Too avant-garde, eh?
