That sort of attitude isn't welcomed in any sport, I'll be interested to hear of the discipline she faces after those kind of actions. The disciplinary action taken will really show the schools true colours, nevermind the ncaa's or whatever level it is she is playing at.

Again proving complete incompetence in soccer's officiating! How she wasn't sent off after her first two serious fouls is shocking. I suppose she might be genuinely sorry, but that was incident after incident, how sorry can you really be?

This is to every soccer player out there who has aspirations of continuing on with the game after their ability to play competitively is over: Give refereeing or coaching a shot! Too often we complain and truthfully we, the soccer family, need to be the ones that change the way things are done.

This girls' coach could have had this diffused much earlier, but chose to let her continue the way she was. The ref could have also settled her by managing her on field antics, but he let her almost break legs and let it get to the hair grabbing!

We can't sit back and complain, we need to take action! I hope to be at the referees course in the spring, be good to see some of yous out there also.

I was thinking that too, but review it again...some of the stuff is off the ball. If I picked 10 BAS goons and just recorded their play for 90 minutes (ie. the camera never leaves them), we might get the same kind of result. The girl is an obvious artist at patiently waited til play is going the other direction, the referee has his/her back turned and AR is sprinting up the line. She never counted on someone taping her the entire game.

Vinnie Jones might adopt her if he sees this! As you said admin, goons make a living of disrupting players off the ball and I am sure it is common in football today still as we just witnessed.

The ref is now being investigated (as he should be).

Anyone agree with me that the coach should have subbed the girl out sooner rather than later?

And I'm not buying her apology either, those fouls were committed by a person who obviously has plenty of past experience doing hat kind of stuff. Shame on her.

Well done by the investigation of the ref! (truly sitting here clapping) Too many refs get away with murder in this world, and the next in line is the ref that offered Liverpool a point on Monday.

Yes, the coach should have his credentials checked for allowing this crap to happen, even for just the second half! The apology has no weight to it either - get them all out of the game!!

And I'm not convinced the "indefinite suspension" has any teeth, either. Their season is over. She'll likely be back for her senior year when this all blows over. A proper message would be rescinding her scholarship. In the meantime, expect to see her on Letterman and maybe guest commentator on UFC 328 (or whatever) Rolling Eyes
